No Second Leg For DISTURBED's 'Music As A Weapon' Tour

Launch Radio Networks reports: DISTURBED will not embark on a second leg of its Music As A Weapon tour this winter. A spokesperson told Harddrive Radio yesterday (Wednesday, January 3) that DISTURBED will instead start working on its fourth album. This contradicts recent comments made by singer David Draiman, who told Launch that another run of shows was "definitely in the planning stage." He added, "We are as yet still trying to solidify that bill. But we're definitely talking to people and it's looking to be as strong of a lineup as we've thankfully been able to assemble this time for this first leg."

The latest Music As A Weapon bill featured STONE SOUR, FLYLEAF and NONPOINT.

The tour, which began in mid-October and ended in late December, was marred on several of its last dates by a number of injuries and arrests.

DISTURBED's third album, "Ten Thousand Fists", came out in September of 2005 and featured the singles "Stricken" and "Land of Confusion".
